| After retirement by the PRR/PRSL the car had a variety of private owners until purchased by the Atlantic Central for an excursion service that never ran. All the seats were removed and a counter installed for concession/souvenir service. Later sold to Wilmington and Western of Delaware, repainted & lettered for W&W and used at least twice before being stored. Cape May Seashore Lines later purchased the car at scrap value from a Coatesville PA junkyard and stored it for many years near Wildwood Junction. No dates for any of this history have been uncovered. Roof stabilized and one side made presentable in 2022. If anyone out there has additional information please add in the comments section. |
