WB. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Flushing, New York, in 1939. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3768, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1920, streamlined in 1936, and retired in October of 1953 after 33 years of faithful service. It's on display at the New York World's Fair. Note the "Futura" lettering and the five-stripe design on the tender. William E. Burket Collection. |
