Armco Steel E-110
A rare example of a Lima diesel locomotive, built in 1951. Lima-Hamilton produced only 175 total from 1949 to '51, when it merged with Baldwin and their line was discontinued in favor of Baldwin's, which would exit the locomotive market in 1956. The transition era proved to be the death knell for the old steam builders; ALCo did better than most but ultimately exited the U.S. locomotive market in 1969.
