In a scene depicting the transitional era from Pan Am to CSX, a late WAPO crosses the Androscoggin River from Lewiston into Auburn, Maine with MEC 7542 - MEC 7605 - MEC 310 - CSXT 6536 and 99 cars. While no CSX road power has been utilized yet east of Rigby, numerous four axle units and two six axle units have been transported to the Waterville shops since June to be reactivated into service after being stored at various yards on the CSX system. Only one of those units; CSXT 2548 has been used on Pan Am so far. |
