Here is the fifth of ten original photos by an unidentified photographer that were taken in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on 21 February 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6356, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in Juniata during September of 1926, later transferred to the PRSL, and retired in June of 1950 after 24 years of faithful service. It's shifting cars at the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines Passenger Station. Gary Mittner Collection. |
