Built by Baldwin in January of 1923 (serial #56097), the loco was caught by an unknown photographer as it labored in the winter with a double-headed freight. The loco served for nearly 25 years before being scrapped in November of 1948. Specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weigh tof 326,340 lb, tractive effort of 59,014 lb, a trailing truck booster added another 11,000 lb of tractive effort.
