Starting out in September of 1902 as St Louis, Memphis & Southeastern #276, it was merged into the Frisco roster as SLSF #962. The loco was built by ALCo-Dickson and lasted for nearly 46 years of service before being sent to the scrapper's torch in August of 1948.
