Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1188, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in September of 1955 after 38 years of faithful service. Note the experimental streamlined smoke deflector. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#24 of 72)
