Two ES44C4s roll past the Amtrak station in Emeryville with a string of baretable well cars. These cars originated in the Port of Oakland, and are most likely bound for the BNSF yard in Richmond, a distance of around 15 miles. The cars will then likely be forwarded north or south to other ports along the Pacific Coast that need them. BNSF 6767, the lead unit, was built in 2011 by General Electric. |
