Built by Lima Locomotive Works in March of 1924 as BO 2-10-2 #6160 (serial #6710), the loco was a powerful addition to the freight hauling capabilties of the B&O, especially in the hilly Cumberland Division. The loco lasted in service for nearly 32 years before being retired and scrapped in 1956. Specs - S-1 class, 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine weight of 434,500 lb, tractive effort of 84,300 lb.
