Built by Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin predecessor) in October of 1907, Frisco 2-8-0 Consolidation #1231 served them well. About half way through its service, it was rebuilt with a superheater and piston valves in 1930. After nearly 45 years of faithful service, the loco met up with the scrapper's torch in January of 1952 at the Springfield, MO, yard.
