Built by Baldwin in August of 1905 as a compound 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive, the loco was simplified in the Albuquerque Shops in April of 1920. The loco remained active until it was sold for scrap to Finkelstein Supply Company on August 22, 1950. Rebuilt specs - coal burner, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x32" cylinders, engine wt of 323,400 lb and tractive effort of 74,800 lb. No photographer was listed for this photo. |
