Moving further west, we get back out in the country on the west side of Galesburg. Transcon activity died down a little bit again, but we did have a westbound H-LINGAL1-23 ready to come in to the yard. A number of trains were wanting both in and out of the yard, so LINGAL ended up taking the backway into the yard (going east into town and taking the huge curve back west). We grabbed it right before the double track on the bypass outside of town. |
