NS 31M was originally ahead of NS 265, but it got hit by the defect detector outside of Bryan and was forced to stop. NS 265 was lined around 31M east of Edgerton, and we almost decided to leave 31M behind just to catch-up since we were running so behind on schedule. But we never managed to get past where 31M was stopped before the conductor keyed up dispatch and told them that they were all ready to go. It was a good idea that we decided to wait on it anyway. The UP leader followed by the high hood GP38-2 made for a pretty cool consist. The town of Edgerton has recently repainted both water towers as well. I am a fan of the bulldogs new look! |
