Oct. 10, 1963." LIRR #411 is a BS-6A built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in May of 1948 and rated at 660 horsepower. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Baldwins in Action ~ On North-Eastern Railroads" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (892-02). |
