| The buffet/lounge car "Effie Dean" has no connection to the original Mark Twain Zephyr but instead was part of the Pioneer Zephyr and had no name. Through a weird twist of fate when the Pioneer Zephyr was donated to the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, they only had room for 3 of the 4 cars. Hence, this car was abandoned. It was eventually sold off with the four original cars of the Mark Twain Zephyr. Now it has become part of that trainset in Wisconsin! |
