| We were returning from a trip to Ohio, and came through Monett in the early afternoon. Despite the dismal weather, we decided to take a ride downtown to see if the Monett Turn was there. Turned out it was, and we got a few shots. To my surprise, this ex KCS SD70ACe, from the first order, had moved over to its neighbor, and is now A&M 73, still in its original colors. As much as I enjoy the Belle scheme, I was glad this one was trailing. Note the switch stand with the "D" on it, denoting a derail. |
