Built by Baldwin in September of 1900 as Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul Vauclain compound 4-6-0 ten wheeler #317, it went through many changes during its life - renumbered in 11/1906 tp CMStP #1617, renumbered in 12/1912 to CMStP #4217, simplified & renumbered in 1/1917 to CMStP #2767, renumbered in 12/1920 to CMStP #2757, renumbered in 6/1938 to CMStP&P #1120. Last trip out was on 2/16/1945 and the loco was later scrapped in October of 1945. Simplfied specs - 69" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22 1/2x26" cylinders, engine wt of 169,400 lb, tractive effort of 29,190 lb and superheated. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
