MILW 4-6-0 #1141 - Milwaukee Road         
This 4-6-0 wore 6 different numbers during its nearly 47 years with the Milwaukke Road. Built by Baldwin & Comapny in September of 1897, it was originally Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul Vauclain compound 4-6-0 ten wheeler #1141 but changed soon after - renumbered in 4/1899 to CMStP #216, renumbered in 11/1905 to CMstP #854, renumbered in 9/12/ to CMStP $4101, simplified and renumbered in 7/1915 to CMStP #2351, renumbered in 6/1938 to CMStP&P #1141. The loco was scrapped after 47 years of service in November of 1944. Simplified specs - 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 20x26" cylinders, modest engine wt of 155,500 lb and modest tractive effort of 25,260 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.
