| Built by Baldwin & Company in October of 1897, MILW #1162 started out as Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul Vauclain compound 4-6-0 ten wheeler #222. It was renumbered several times after this staring in 11/1905 to CMStP #860, renumbered in 9/1912 to CMStP 4107, simplified and renumbered in9/1924 to CMStP #2373, renumbered in 9/1938 to CMStP&P #1162. The loco was scrapped in July of 1954 after nearly 57 years of service. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
