| If you look carefully, you can see the rise where the tracks once were. It gets harder and harder every year to find evidence of a line that once hosted the Choctaw Rocket and heavy freights. Every time I drive out here, I picture battered U Boats and GP 35s slogging along toward Amarillo, or to the SP at Tucumcari. |
