I was home, and heard a horn, along with the sound of working engines. Northbound, I thought, and took off. When I got to town, I didnt see the northbound-not uncommon, they sometimes take a few minutes to get up the hill from Watts. I was going up to Tahlequah St, as I was thinking there might be a meet, since I heard a horn to the north as well. I dont normally beat the southbounds to town, they get there too fast for me to get ahead of them. So it was with some surprise I saw the headlight of this train up beyond Country Club Rd. A southbound grain move rolls through the signals at Tahlequah St behind a now common mix of power. |
