| Unfortunately due to work schedules my dad and I did not have a true "End of the Year" trip scheduled. I had to go by myself this year, and with talks about signal replacement on the CSX Indy Line between Sidney and Ansonia, I knew that I should give that area a try just in case Im not able to get back down there again. I decided to start in Elroy where the first pair of intermediates are. Upon arrival, two westbound headlights could be seen on both tracks. One belonging to I131 and the other belonging to M313 which would end up working the yard at Ansonia. I131 soon overtook M313 and passed me with a sole BNSF Tier 4 GEVO. These trains come from and go to the UP so seeing BNSF power on them is pretty rare. |
