| We were heading up to Joplin for a trip to Pizza Ranch, which wed taken a liking to in trips to the upper midwest, and to Woodys Smokehouse to pick up some barbecue-and just to get out, since it was a nice day in the 40s, after a week of snow and bitter(overnights below zero) cold. As we approached Decatur, a UP nose came out of the trees. I turned at got it at the next crossing, taking advantage of not having to be on the west side of the tracks, as it was mid day.
