The old wooden grain elevator at Roanoke was torn down (unknown to me at the time) and with the snow off the trees for the most part I decided that I would probably get the best shot at CP Mardenis east of Huntington where trains come around a big curve and head straight east into town. After about 40 minutes of waiting on them to finish up at Roanoke, NS 199 proceeded west. The Penn Central is one of my favorite heritage units to shoot. Ive always liked the simple paint scheme. It sure does need some help though. |
