Nice example of a Lima built 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive. Delivered in March of 1924, it served the B&O well for nearly 29 years of service before being sold for scrap in June of 1953. Original specs - 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine wt of 436,510 lb and tractive effort of 84,300 lb. Max Miller photo |
