Built by Baldwin in April of 1918, Central RR of New Jersey 4-6-0 camelback #789 was working the passenger car yard when the photo was taken by an unknown photographer. The loco served for nearly 35 years during which it was reclassified from class 780 to class L8s in 1919 to class T40 in 1945. It was sold for scrap in March of 1953. No location or photographer was listed for this photo. |
