| Hauling a string of boxcars on this day in 1944 is Canadian Pacific 4-6-4 hudson #2817. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in December of 1930, the high stepping locomotive worked in passenger and well as freight service for nearly 27 years before being scrapped in November of 1957.
