With a string of freight cars behind, Canadian Pacific 4-6-4 Hudson #2819 is heading up the train on this day in 1941. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in December of 1930, this good looking loco served the CP in freight and passenger service for nearly 31 years before being sent to the scrapper's torch in September of 1961, long after many of its sisters had already met the same fate.
