SBD 255
2.25.1985 Lang Junction, Waycross, GA. This view is from the corner of Brunswick Ave. and L St. SBD 255 leading a trio of U-boats is taking the "right" leg for a direct connection to Rice Yard bringing in loads off the Albany Subdivision that no longer exists. The other leg goes through town to join-up with the Waycross to Jesus mainline at Albany and Plant Avenues. This way trains could run by the Waycross depot. This interlock no longer exists as such. The "left" leg has been pulled up. Parts of it are now a walking/biking trail. The leg to the left was moved ~250 feet to the west, double tracked, and became part of the mainline from Douglas and points northwest
