Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, on 15 September 1959. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9589 and two more "BF" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. #9589 is a BF-15 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in June of 1949, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in June of 1964 after just 15 years of revenue service. |
