ERIE C254 was assigned to my job for many years. When I was conductor on that job in 1973 -1975, I had the key to the car.   Contributor's Pick!       
I had worked with it as brakeman and flagman, but those last 2 years I was on board as the conductor of a local that serviced customers between Tallmadge and Rittman and originating in Akron Ohio. Our advertised limits were Kent to West Salem and once in a while we would be sent deeper into those limits. Those were good times. Many thanks to R&GV for giving it the TLC it deserves.
