Aspect Stop   Contributor's Pick!
The Aspect changed from Approach , (Steady Yellow over Steady Red) to Red/Red , NORAC Rule 292 ,Name STOP . August 7,2024 I had initially listed this aspect as Stop & Proceed, which it isn't as the signal mast does not have a plate on it. Thnaks to fellow railfan and friend Tom Beckett for bringing this to my attention.

Tom Beckett General Red over red, no number plate; that's a stop signal. If it were stop and proceed, it would have a single head, and a number plate. This signal protects an interlocking-there are several crossovers and diverging tracks associated with the signal, as you can see in your first couple of photos. Cool album. Always good to see how things play out in the field. And that's a pretty compelling image of the stacks going through the truss bridge, along with the electric transmission lines. 8/7/2024 3:37:18 AM
