Electric Action. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Passenger Station in Elizabeth, New Jersey, c. 1966. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4879, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric built in Juniata during February of 1939, rated at 4,620 horsepower, and presently on display at the United Railway Historical Society in Boonton, New Jersey. The pedigree of the Central Railroad of New Jersey Railroad locomotive pictured here is not recorded.
