FM. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide of a photo by Fred McLeod that was taken near Gallitzin, Pennsylvania. Photo Caption: "2-10-0 Decapod with a long string of empties nearing Gallitzin after coming upgrade from Altoona. Fall, 1950." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4261, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during July of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in March of 1943, and retired in August of 1955 after 32 years of faithful service. This photo comes from a slide set entitled "Horseshoe Curve, Pennsylvania Railroad" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (22-28). (Photo taken 21 October 1950)
