M K General Beautifull shot! Now only one of the three GN tracks remains. 4/26/2011 1:02:24 AM
Stephen Gose General To us local kids, growing up in SLP in the 70s and 80s, this was known as the triangle trestle. I got drunk many times in that trestle, long before I was of legal drinking age, is all I can say....Amazing to this day, that none of us got run over by the MN&S, although the SLP cops got after us many times. Nowdays, nobody gives a rats @ss about the triangle, and the mystique of dead mans hill, is long gone! Does anybody else on here, remember dead mans hill? It was the hill on the south side between the tracks and Blackstone. We used to sled down it, in the winter time, and dirt bike down it in the summer time. Why dead mans hill? Because that embankment is that d*mn steep! If you grew up around here, you'd know what I'm talking about. But nobody cares nowdays, in our ultra social media society of robots who don't know nothing about railroading or dirt bikes! 2/19/2017 10:30:25 PM
