DCCX is the reporting mark for The McDonnel Douglas Corporation - now a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co. The cars you have pictured here are configured for hauling sub-assemblies of the C17 military transport (specically, loading ramps and landing gear pods) for the Berkeley plant to the final assembly plant in Long Beach, CA. The blue scaffold looking things on them are workstands for accessing specific areas of the assemblies.b
