I once had the privilege of riding the Southern Crescent passenger train. I still remember the E8A pulling into the station in Atlanta. What beauty! What grace! What power! It had, as I recall, two B units in train. The service, the food, and the atmosphere are fond memories of mine. Alas, she is no more....
