During the late '80's and early '90's, the Connecticut Valley Railroad Museum was actively seeking a new home. After a "false start" in Willimantic, CT., the museum turned to the city of Danbury, CT. In concert with the city and Metro-North, the museum held a two day "Railroad Days" event at Danbury, which featured the museum's New Haven RR U25-B 2525. The U-Boat handled a fan trip from Danbury to Waterbury on Saturday, Oct.10, 1992. The train is seen there with riders and other fans milling about in this photo. |
