Geoff Blackmore	General	The Tranz Rail and Westrail locos came from New Zealand, where NRE had them stored for a few years. Originally they came from Western Australia and Queensland Australia, and were purchased and brought to NZ by Wisconsin Central owned Tranz Rail to boost the motive power fleet, but the Westrail units never saw service there. Some of the QR units did, which is why 2079 is in the Tranz Rail livery. Would love to see what eventually happens to these locos	8/15/2007 8:46:05 AM
