Northbound KCS Local
While in Lamar, MO today we decided to head over to see the KCS. This was the only actual KCS-Looking train we saw today.

Unusual color for a loco - it reminds me of "battleship" grey! Grey would not normally be an accepted adopted livery in UK for locos - as it is usually a respected use for the naval defense fleet. However, I think you were wise to choose a side on view here, as the low trees have provided an excellent back-cloth - also the side on view has given us an idea on the size and the striking KCS logo letters. I also like the positioning just as it comes to the level crossing with the red warning lights - do they flash on and off at your crossings?
