wow close shot. looks like the rails could ahve continued straight at one time, maybe I'm wrong

You're right, Jacob--this is the ex-CNJ bridge over the Lehigh River, and CNJ had access to Bethlehem Steel's massive plant (now closed) using a switch here on the bridge. The tracks here curve east and join the ex-LV Lehigh Line for the run to New Jersey; the removed straight route used to lead to a diamond with the LV main and trackage to the mill.
