Sugar Mill         
This 10-ton Plymouth lived at the South Coast Corporation's sugar mill at Raceland, Louisiana. The JWCX reporting mark on the tank car was assigned to The Celotex Corporation, which had been a subsidiary of South Coast. This mill was served by the Southern Pacific.

General Back in the old days when sugar cane was brought to the mill in narrow gauge rail cars the track was so bad that only link and pin couplers could be used. This loco was set up for link and pin couplers. 12/26/2019 11:47:26 AM
