Tony Fernandez General UP Slug #S-7 (ex-SD24B #406B) was converted in Jan 1978, originally for use as an electric trailer behind master unit SD24 #405. Yard slugs S-7 and S-8 were both converted from former SD24Bs that had their hoods "chopped." The external sandboxes were removed from scrapped DD35 and added in early 1980. 2/17/2008 9:52:47 PM
