| Two SD60Ms, the first one a triclops, pass the Metrolink platforms. Based on the older power, I believe that this is a Hauler or Local coming out of East Yard (which is just west of here) to the carload facility in Montclair. But, I have no way of knowing. This is UP's Los Angeles Sub, the former Los Angeles & Salt Lake RR. The triops was delivered in November of 1990 as part of UP's fourth order for SD60Ms (the five orders totaled 362 units). It has since been renumbered to #2408. |
