Larry Hawkes General Sweet! 9/8/2007 4:16:19 PM
Pat Scott General This is actually Ridgely Tower in Springfield, IL. WR was on the west side of the tracks, which would mean this tower was being lit from the north, impossible in this hemisphere. That, and this looks just like the tower and interlocking there. 9/14/2007 6:59:54 PM
George Redmond General Nice shot. 9/15/2007 10:06:46 AM
Jim Gavin General Great shot with the train order signals and hoops. Form D's and radios did away with them. 9/16/2007 6:31:28 AM
Ryan Koertge General Nice pic, looks like it's going to storm 3/30/2008 8:45:15 PM
Matthew Harrell General Ridgely and WR are one and the same tower. This shot is of the SW corner of the tower, but in the summer you can get shots of northbounds with nose light in the early AM and the late PM. See Dick Wallin's GM&O book for examples. 4/4/2008 9:04:21 PM
Doug Wolfe General Ridgely Tower is still there and is still fully operational in 2008. 12/13/2008 12:47:50 PM
Trey Kunz General Fantastic! 1/21/2011 9:39:21 PM
