T. Man General Yes, the 416 days are numbered. I was Homewood IL the next day and she was already in the deadline. Number boards already taken off. :-( 10/27/2007 12:26:18 AM
Robby Gragg General Wow, that is too bad. It makes no sense CN is getting rid of so many DM&IR engines since they haven't put the special brakes the DM&IR used on any of its own engines. The special brakes are required to pull ore trains. The DM&IR is pretty short of power. 10/28/2007 6:33:52 PM
T. Man General Please keep posting pics of the deadline at Homewood. Its good to at least know what is changing over there once in a while. Thanks. 11/6/2007 11:23:36 AM
Robby Gragg General Yeah, its actually kinda sad photographing this stuff knowing what is probably going to happen. 11/7/2007 5:18:57 PM
T. Man General Yes I completely agree, when I was there about a month ago and saw the 7504, 7637, and the 3005 in the Dead line. It was really depressing. Especially when I saw the 7637 pulling a train back in December wide open. I felt like I was in a museum for a moment except none of these locomotives are safe. 11/11/2007 10:12:16 PM
Robby Gragg General At least WC 7495 and 7525 are at museums! 11/12/2007 3:29:13 PM
T. Man General Yes that is very true. 11/15/2007 10:55:55 AM
