Former MILW
These two veiws are of the former MILW right of way. This is one of several bridges on the old MILW were the tracks were taken up west of Terry. East of Terry the tracks are now under BNSF owner ship as the Headinger Sub. This bridge is with in sight of the foemer Northern Pacific now BNSF Forsyth Sub and is located about four miles west of Terry at a spot known as Kham. So the story goes, A west bound local passenger train derailed on this bridge killing seventine people on board sometime in the 1930s. The MILW ran on the north bank of the Yellowstone River west of Terry while the NP ran on the south bank.
