Awesome catch! From FTB serial number 2892, blt 3/45. It could under the loco section rather than the rolling stock.

If it is still there, this makes it one of the handful of pre-1950 EMD SOU equipment left.

Actually, this FTB (originally) was built by EMC. That was the Electro Motive Corporation before purchase by GM when it became EMD. It is ex-SOU 4108C rebuilt to a steam generator.
