Joe Magruder General It is a GP16. Being a former INRD unit, I just checked an older roster of theirs. 11/8/2007 7:32:22 PM
Switchman Images General I agree with the GP16, but many others insist that it's a GP11 due to the Paducah-built heritage of these units for the SCL. CANX #7302 (trailing) is an SW1200RS. 5/16/2009 11:14:46 AM
Thomas Rousseau General Let's not confuse the Paducah built GP11 with the SCL built GP16. Paducah did the first few CRR units, #4600-4605 as GP11's. Afet that, All GP16 were built at the Uceta shops in Tampa. The CRR units rebuilt bt Paducah were reclassed by SCL to GP16s. But for the true enthusiast, 4600-4605 are true GP11s. 6/3/2011 5:28:47 PM
Thomas Rousseau General CANX is atrue GP16. It started as ACL #201, Builder's #13881, Frame #5050-15, built in 6/51. It went to to SCL #821, Rebuilt to GP16 #4745, to SBD 4745, to CSXT 1791, to INRD 1791 and now here it is on the CANAC #1791. 6/3/2011 5:33:31 PM
